Feyi Olukanni, a senior at Clovis East High, won the girls shot put title with a third-round mark of 44 feet (13.41m) at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Olukanni also took third in the discus throw final with a 154-2 (46.99m) effort, in addition to becoming the first female athlete in program history to win a state crown in any event.
