Carter Spradling, a sophomore at Clovis East High, placed third in the boys varsity 1,600 meters in 4:18.88 at the Buchanan Distance Classic at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Spradling was also second in his 800-meter section in 2:04.63, finishing 15th overall.
